Food Stations at the Central Library

The Indianapolis Public Library is an absolutely breathtaking venue for a wedding ceremony and reception. We love the Library because it has so many versatile event spaces. This wedding was a particularly fun one for us because we got to incorporate food stations into the menu. Food stations are taking over wedding receptions this year. Couples are opting to share their favorite meals in smaller portions at different stations throughout their reception. From smoking guns, to brulee torches, the variety of food keeps guests entertained and eager to try the assortment of food!

In addition to passed hors d’oeuvres at this reception, guests enjoyed these food stations:

  • Low Country Pulled Pork on a Homemade Biscuit topped with Smoked Salt served with Tidewater Coleslaw

  • Pasta-Tini station - a variety of Pastas served in Martini Glasses including: "Bloody Mary" -Julienne Vegetables with Mushrooms, spicy Vodka Tomato Sauce and Cellentani Pasta garnished with a Celery Stick, "Lemon Drop" - Diced Boneless Breast of Chicken with Piccata Sauce, Penne Pasta and Sautéed Spinach garnished with Lemon Wedge, and "Manhattan" - Fresh Shrimp with Tri-Colored Pasta in a Bourbon Sauce garnished with a Cheese Straw

  • Stir-Fry Noodle Station with Veggies including: Onion, Snow Peas, Red Pepper, Baby Corn, Water Chestnuts, Carrots, Bamboo

Our guests’ satisfaction is never just about the quality of the food and how it tastes, but also about the plate and presentation of the food. The food experience is as much about the visual and performance aspects of the menu item as it is about the taste and quality. Guests will always remember the fun and unique displays that accompany the taste.

We were honored to play a part in this wedding and are glad we could help the couple celebrate. The Library looked beautiful and the guests were enjoying themselves and there is nothing more to ask for!
