Delicious AND Safe

Until the COVID-19 pandemic, we all took safety at events for granted. If we kept everything clean and tidy and was in keeping with all required regulations, we didn’t think much about it. Now it seems it’s ALL we think about. We at Thomas Caterers of Distinction will continue to do everything we can to make safety look and feel good. One of the ways we are achieving this is by focusing on an element that is the least noticeable, and that is limiting contact between guests and service staff. It's a simple idea that has a big impact on your guest’s safety. For the foreseeable future, we are taking steps to limit contact between guests and service staff in several ways.

As we pass hors d'oeuvres for instance, we are using our custom-made trays with sneeze guards, shielding each offering from guest to guest. Also, each food item is displayed on its own individual vessel to help prevent multiple hands touching each item.

For many, the Wedding Cake is an integral and essential part of the look of an event. We felt we had to come up with a way to still present the cake to the guests but keep it free prom potential contamination. Our custom-made Cake Guards do just that.

For food items that are traditionally displayed, we are serving them off attended stations with attractive screens. Once the item is plated by the attendant, they place it at the passthrough under the screen for the guest.

Simply put, we want your event, and every event that comes before and after it, to be safe and enjoyable for all the guests we serve. Safety doesn't need to be hard or ugly. You can trust that the Team at Thomas Caterers of Distinction has got your back.
